Let’s get our beaks on – Foliage Special 2021
When we look at the leaves on the trees, the thought immediately goes to the birds as well. But how do these small animals make it through the winter without worry when fruits, berries and insects are scarce? The answer is very easy: thanks to our help!
On the occasion of National Tree Day on November 21, 2021, we will carry out environmental sustainability activities to get closer to nature as it prepares for its long hibernation.
Creative-environmental workshops to help birds and other small animals in the park get through the winter.
Immersed in the beautiful foliage of Monza Park, we will first do an adventurous “material hunt” among the trees that live around Cascina Costa Alta. Then we will build feeders and shelters for our animal friends, using the colorful autumn leaves in the most original ways.
We will thus discover the nature that is falling asleep and the most hidden life in Monza Park!
“Let’s get our beaks on” activities for children 3-8 years old are conducted by META professional educators and parents are not expected to be present.
In case of bad weather, activities will be adapted and held in the Cascina’s indoor facilities.
Event as part of the “Foliage of the Royal Palace 2021” initiative.
