Small Footprints

“Embracing the Wind.” The Wind is like an unexpected friend: it comes by whenever it wants to surprise us, and as soon as it arrives we can’t help but hug it!
Thus, together with our friend Vento, Outdoor Education activities in Cascina Costa Alta dedicated to toddlers (18-36 months) resume.

After an animated storytelling from the sounds of nature, with the help of the friendly hedgehog Spillo we imitate the Wind in a fun motor game that will introduce us to all the characteristics of this interesting natural element. We then go to explore the forest around the Cascina to collect natural materials that we will need to make beautiful Wind Spirals.

An entertaining exploratory-experiential workshop for the adult-child pair (18-36 months), with exciting activities to experience and share outdoors with mom or dad to learn about friend Wind together with the Riccio Spillo, which helps us build fantastic wind spirals with the collected materials to leave as gifts to the trees in the forest or to take home.

The third of four Outdoor Education workshops dedicated to young children in which we favor the discovery of Cascina Costa Alta‘s woods and meadows and the use of natural and reclaimed materials, respecting and enhancing the environment around us.

In case of bad weather, activities will be adapted and held in the Cascina’s indoor facilities.
