Firefly in Bosco Bello 2023

A magical moonlit evening to find out everything there is to know about fireflies.
We will learn about and recognize these fascinating insects and marvel at the phenomenon of bioluminescence in the darkness of Monza Park.
An exciting educational-environmental activity that includes a presentation of the park’s nocturnal wildlife and a hike in the Bosco Bello (the oldest forest in Monza Park) in search of fireflies, with listening to the songs and calls of nocturnal birds of prey (especially owls and tawny owls).

Each participant will have an eco-sustainable lighted surprise + a gift realized by the children of Monza Pre-Post School.

Meet under the porch of Cascina Costa Alta (pedestrian entrance to Monza Park on Via Costa Alta in Biassono).

During the Firefly, activities are conducted by META professional educators and parents are not expected to be present. Parents can stay in the surroundings, on the Cascina lawns and in the bar area.
To participate in the activity, 6-year-olds must have already attended Primary school as of September 2022. Attendances are limited.

In case of bad weather, activities will be readjusted and held in the Cascina’s indoor facilities.

Online registration must be done with the form found on this page by 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 23. The transaction takes place on PayPal’s secure platform.
